Eric George
Since 2004, Eric George has effectively lobbied the Governor’s Office, the Connecticut General Assembly and the state’s regulatory agencies. He has served as chief lobbyist for healthcare related matters on behalf of Connecticut’s largest and most renowned statewide business and industry association.

Over the years, healthcare has consistently been one of the most controversial and active areas of interest to all stakeholders. On behalf of his clients, Eric successfully lobbied for legislation that was aimed at bending the healthcare cost curve downward to ensure greater access to high quality health insurance and medical care.

Notably, Eric was highly instrumental in lobbying for the advancement of legislation on electronic medical records, a more balanced system for medical malpractice cases, enhanced chronic disease management and the proper development of Connecticut’s health insurance exchange (as required by the Federal Affordable Care Act).

Eric also has significant experience consulting and advising on healthcare marketplace and exchange related issues, having represented one of the nation’s premiere private health insurance exchanges.

Additionally, he has successfully lobbied lawmakers to reject numerous legislative and regulatory proposals that would have increased healthcare costs and made access to insurance and medical care more elusive.

Eric’s lobbying expertise is not limited only to healthcare issues. Eric also has vast experience lobbying such varied issues as taxes, state budget matters, labor rules and costs, education reform, campaign finance, ethics and transportation matters.
