After-Hours Movers Led By Bob Evans, Bazaarvoice And Smith & Wesson On Tuesday

NeoPhotonics Corp. (NYSE: NPTN) rose 17 percent in Tuesday’s after-hours session to $4.10 a share recently on favorable fourth-quarter results.

Career Education Corp. (NASDAQ: CECO) gained 13 percent in the extended session, changing hands recently at $5.80 a share. The Schaumburg, Illinois-based higher education provider posted better-than-expected quarterly results after the bell.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: SWHC) shot up 8 percent on favorable quarterly results issued after the bell, changing hands recently at $14.15.

TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) picked up 6 percent, changing hands recently at $11.93 after the software and digital video recorder maker posted higher-than-expected earnings.

TriNet Group Inc. (NYSE: TNET) fell more than 10 percent after the personnel management software company offered disappointing fourth-quarter results after the bell.

Bob Evans Farms Inc. (NASDAQ: BOBE) plunged 18 percent in the extended session when the company told investors that it won’t spin off its prepared food business.

Bazaarvoice Inc (NASDAQ: BV) tumbled 12 percent to $8 a share when the consumer rating and advertising company’s third quarter results failed to meet expectations.

Veeva Systems Inc. (NYSE: VEEV) dropped 8 percent to $30 a share on a first quarter earnings outlook that missed Wall Street’s expectations.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ACHN) declined nearly 3 percent recently to $11.80. The New Haven, Connecticut-based company, which completed a 13.8 million-share public offering last month, didn’t issue any news Tuesday.
